Mr. Glen Thomas
Principal,
Secondary School
Mr Thomas has had extensive teaching experience, with a PGCE from HKU and a Prep. Cert in TOEFL teaching. He has worked at a local secondary school for twenty years, where he attained the position of panel head in English. He has also worked for the British Council, and has co-written course books and listening and speaking books for Aristo Publishing. He was awarded the coveted Commendation Certificates for Outstanding Professional Performance for two consecutive years by the Committee on Respect Our Teachers Campaign and has given talks and training sessions to teachers. He contributed towards a teaching materials website run by the SCMP several years ago and has given several talks to schools.
Ms. Yvonne Thomas
Primary School
Ms Yvonne Thomas has been awarded a Masters Degree in Psychology from the City University of Hong Kong and is a graduate in Psychology at the University of Hull, UK. Yvonne makes use of her knowledge in this field to motivate her students and encourages her learners to excel and reach their potential from a young age. Yvonne has also attained a Certificate in Tesol after attending Tesol English training and is thus able to use various communicative activities to improve learning. She has a caring attitude and her greatest satisfaction is seeing improvements in her students.
