Glen Thomas Tuition School (ED 527653) was founded by Glen Thomas, a former English panel head in a local Secondary School. He has had over 30 years of experience of teaching English locally and understands the needs of Hong Kong students in learning English. As the name suggests, we provide more than just tuition. We closely follow students’ progress in class, and implement medium and small-class teaching to ensure students get enough attention in class. Unlike mainstream tuition centres, we do not teach by recorded videos, but with experienced tutors and teaching assistants who can give instant feedback for the best educational experience. Secondary 1 to 2
中一及中二課程 中學
Coming from primary to secondary school, students need to refine what they have learnt and adapt fast to the secondary curriculum. The course aims to consolidate and further develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills as well as to build vocabulary and syntax. We hope to arouse their interest in English and build a solid foundation and understanding of how English works in order for learners to cope with the increasingly-demanding curriculum in higher forms.
中學程度的英文比小學課程截然不同，初中學生更需要迅速適應著轉變。中一至中二課程重點鞏固英文基礎及提升學生的讀、寫、聽、說等技巧，以及有效地把詞彙和語法學以致用。我們希望提高他們對學習英文的興趣，並建立穩固的基礎，為高年級的英文課程做出最好準備。
Secondary 3 to 4
中三及中四課程
The course will guide students in developing syntax and vocabulary. We will also put more emphasis on applying their knowledge in reading, writing, listening and speaking. In S4, a gradual emphasis will be put on DSE tasks to better prepare learners for their English public examination papers in S6.
中三至中四課程將進一步提升學生的語法和詞彙水平，把重點放在讀、寫、聽、說的運用。在中四的課程，我們會逐漸將重點放在中學文憑試，確保他們能夠有效應用英文知識於公開考試。
Secondary 5 to 6
中五至中六課程
We will help students consolidate all skills learnt in lower forms and enhance their confidence through increased practice of DSE papers. Advanced grammatical structures will be introduced and vocabulary and syntax will be consolidated. Our tutors will continuously monitor learners’ progress and provide feedback from tasks to ensure that they are well prepared for their DSE exam.
中五至中六課程將幫助學生鞏固過往所接觸的英文知識，通過持續性的文憑試練習，增強他們在公開考試答題的信心。我們會深入探討比較複雜的詞彙及語法，密切跟進學習進度，以確保他們有充分準備應付英文中學文憑試。
Primary 4
小四課程
Our P4 courses aim at developing students' language learning skills. Exercises in sentence construction, reading and writing skills will be given and listening and speaking activities will be provided. Students will be required to complete guided writing tasks and build on previous knowledge. There will also be considerable vocabulary and syntax input. Various pair-work activities requiring communicative exchanges and language games to motivate students will also be included.
小四課程主要目標是發展學生的語文學習能力。通過句式學習、閱讀、寫作及聽說練習，輔以互動的活動和遊戲，重點幫助學生學習英文詞彙及語法，鼓勵學生投入學習。
Primary 5 to 6
小五及小六課程
We hope to arouse learners' interest in English and build a solid foundation and inherent understanding of how English works. Our P5-P6 courses aim to further develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and build students' vocabulary and syntax. We aim to enhance students' confidence and motivation through a range of stimulating and enjoyable activities and also prepare them for the demanding curriculum they will face in secondary school. Various pair-work activities requiring communicative exchanges and language games to motivate students will also be included.
小五至小六課程主要目標是增強學生學習英文的興趣，打好基礎應付升中後的艱深課程。通過句式學習、閱讀、寫作及聽說練習，輔以互動的活動和遊戲，重點幫助學生學習英文詞彙及語法，並鼓勵學生投入英語世界，建立信心，營造愉快的學習氣氛。
